However, the SWR has tweeted that a new Hubballi- Belagavi-Pune intercity Express to start soon and the tweet further says Hubballi -Belagavi distance will be covered in 2 hours and Belagavi-Pune in 6 hours!

This is disheartening said many twitter followers who have been demanding the Pune-Belagavi Intercity express for long.
Many now argue if this train can cover the distance from Hubballi to Belagavi in 2 hours then why not extend the Chennai to Hubballi train to Belagavi and in that matter some other trains as well.
@SureshAngadi_ sir we want this train from/to Belagavi – Pune. If this is the case extend SBC Janshatabdi till Belagavi. Why you are listening to Joshi? Train should be dedicatedly for BELAGAVI-PUNE

Totally unacceptable to share the seats with Hubli Dharwad people .. It’s a long pending wish of Belagavi people to have a direct connectivity to Pune from Belagavi only.
If they want to have the services to be extended then also make sure to Extend the below services to Belagavi
1. SBC – UBL janshatabdi express
2. Hubli Varanasi
3. Hubli chennai express

Sir this is disheartening because Hubli people won’t allow belagavi people to prosper.
It ought to start and end BGM-PUNE-BGM don’t extend till Hubballi – max 6hours journey to and fro 5am -11am both sides (2trains – one will depart Belgaum @5am and the other depart pune @5am ) and to and fro 3pm – 9pm same trains will reach destination both sides – (2trains – one will depart Belgaum @3am and the other depart pune @3am )
Is Belgaum a smart city? Though in the first list of smart cities, not much has been achieved. Roads are in woefully bad condition. Street lights are more off than on. Parks and amenities most neglected. It is not enough if only PM is serious about the scheme Other elected members, officials have also to respond to positively.

Please lay new railway line between Belagavi and Dharwad which much needed and long pending. It is more advantageous in all respects.

Also, plz make Pune Ernakulam poorna exp 11097/11098 may kindly be made twice/thrice a week and extended to Trivandrum.

Belagavi isn’t a Junction, Hubballi is a Junction. There is no proper space in the Belagavi station for the trains when they are not running or in a non operating time. If all the trains are to start or stop at Belagavi then there will be Train traffic. Kindly start the Hubballi – Pune Intercity Express departing Hubballi at 6 am reaching Pune at 2 pm and departing Pune at 3 pm reaching Hubballi at 11pm.
That is Jan Shatabdi with lhb rakes..even hubli doesn’t have maintenance facility LHB rakes.. understand the concept of Jan Shatabdi it should cover up n down journey in a day with maintenance at pune. So the train will be pune-bgm-pune.. this train doesn’t need to go under maintenance let it be at hubli/Belagavi
