  1. Few years back this Facility was available at Ambabhuvan Post Office, handled by single person, and to SURPRISE of all those having experience service(?) of staff in Post Offices, this person was truely extraordinary service friendly. Once he finalise scutiny of it put his stamp(no origibals only zerox copies) & receipt of Rs.1,000/- he used to send it to Bangalore & after that within one mobth Police Verification from concerned local police station one used to receive Passport within 90 days on residential address by Regd. Post.

  2. Its a good move to see passport process being simpler thru local post office, otherwise one had to visit HUBLI for the same. It will same time & money

  3. The friendly gentleman is Mr. Sayed. I am not sure where he is now. Wish he could man the place again. Great and friendly service. A rare positive experience dealing with Babus.

  4. I too applied for passport in 2006 and one gentleman named Mr. Sayyad guided and helped me in getting my passport. Hats off to him. If such people are posted for this work, it will be a boon.
