10-Days-Old Infant from Goa: The 10-day-old baby, hailing from Goa, was transferred to Arihant Hospital on a ventilator immediately after birth. The infant was experiencing difficulty in breathing, prompting a thorough investigation. The medical team diagnosed the condition as Type II Interrupted Aortic Arch, a critical congenital heart defect. Without delay, the hospital undertook a complex surgical intervention to correct the anomaly. Post-surgery, baby’s recovery was closely monitored in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Remarkably, the infant responded positively to the treatment and care provided by the dedicated medical staff. 28-Days-Old Infant from Iraq: A 28-day-old infant, flown in from Iraq, underwent a complex surgical procedure at Arihant Hospital. The baby was suffering from Severe Post Ductal Coarctation of the Aorta (CoA) with Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA) and a Large Atrial Septal Defect (ASD). The skilled medical team successfully repaired the Coarctation of the Aorta and ligated the PDA. After six days of post-operative care, the baby’s health significantly improved, allowing for discharge.
