A truck carrying pressure cookers, iron boxes with pictures of Laxmi Hebbalkar, president of the State Women’s Congress Cell, was seized by police in Belagavi near the DC’s residence on Saturday.
After investigation it has come to light that the total value of goods in the truck is more than 1.5 crores said a Police release.

In all the total value of the good seized from the truck are of value of Rs.1,56,35,300 including the value of the truck.
A case of violation of the model code of conduct has been registered under APMC police station.
