District in-charge minister Govind Karajol who was on a visit to Belagavi said that, as Belagavi is a border district, Lock down needs to be extended.
The matter will be brought to the notice of the Chief Ministers at the meeting to be held tomorrow, he further added.
He said that the work on the establishment of the RTPCR lab in Chikkodi must be expedited.
He instructed that the lab must start in 2 days.
He reviewed the COVID-19 situation in the district.
Special care neecds to be taken as we are a border district along with Vijapura, Bagalkote, Kalburgi the minister added.
