In the year 2010, the Belagavi City police then had its own website when other cities in state did not have other than Bengaluru. But then the website was shut and now again a new revamped website has been made and would be officially launched soon.

The new website has a clean sleek look and is based on the WordPress CMS. Website has complete details about each police station with photo of the incharge inspector and contact details and also the map of its local jurisdiction.
It has all the details of the various helpline numbers one can call and contact the police.
The new innovative BEAT system has a dedicated page with details of each police station.
The site also has a General information section which has safety tips for Women, Senior citizens, Banking, Vehicle theft precaution etc.
However as of now the site lacks any suggestions and complaints section and information about the daily crime, missing persons, unidentified bodies which we are sure would be added in the due course of time.
