Belagavi singers enthrall Muscat audience

The Embassy of India in Oman organized an Indian classical Music Concert in association with Al Omaniya Financial Services on 23rd September 2017. Artists, belonging to Belagavi, mesmerized the audience of more than 300 persons.

A four-member music troupe from the Academy of Music Belgavi, consisting of renowned singers Pt.Dr.Sudhanshu Kulkarni, Angad Desai, Sudhanshu Kulkarni and Prabhakar Shahpurkar enthralled the audience which included several Ambassadors from different countries as well as Omani dignitaries.

The group presented an array of classical, semi-classical, instrumental and vocal music in Hindi, Kannada and Marathi.

Aftab Patel CEO of Al Omaniya Financial Services is also from Belagavi. Aftab Patel was born and brought up in Belagavi and he did his schooling from St.Paul’s High School (1972), then graduation from Gogte College of Commerce(1977) and then Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
