The Anmod ghat road on NH4A, which connects Belagavi to Goa, has been closed for traffic from January 11, 2019, for the widening of Ramnagar to Anmod National Highway stretch.
As this road is shut for all kind of traffic vehicles will have to use the Chorla route or the Amboli Savantwadi route to reach Goa or return from there.
Heavy vehicles will be diverted on the Amboli route while LMVs can use the Chorla route.
There has been no exact date announced as to when the work will be completed but it will at least take 6-12 months or more to complete the work.
