In a significant achievement for Belagavi, Rahul Jaywant Patil, a 28-year-old from Kalkhamb village, has secured the 804th rank in the prestigious Public Service Commission of India exam. This accomplishment has brought recognition to Belagavi on a broader scale.
The results of the 2024 UPSC exam were unveiled on Tuesday, with 1016 candidates, including Rahul from Belgaum taluk, successfully clearing the rigorous test.
Rahul’s educational journey began at Vanita Vidyalaya English Medium in Belagavi followed by undergraduate studies in Science at RLS College. His academic excellence earned him admission to RV College, Bangalore.
Raised in a farming family with modest means through farming and fabrication.
