The Ganesh Visarjan procession commenced from Hutatma chowk at about 4.30 pm and various troupes of dancers were performing before the procession commenced.
All dignitaries were present but the absence of the President of the Ganesh Maha Mandal Sambhaji Patil was noticeable.
Prakash Hukkeri said that next time a proper plan would be chalked out for the Ganesh festival.
Around 6 pm only 6 idols were there in the procession and it is believed the real fun would begin only after 8 pm. Â Â
