In order to show solidarity to the student friends who passed away in the recent Malwan tragedy the students in large numbers came out in the candle light memorial on Monday evening.
The Candlelight memorial commenced from Krishnadevaraya Circle and concluded at Maratha Mandal College in Nehru Nagar.
Students in large numbers participated in the memorial and paid tributes to lost souls.
Some students still could not believe they have lost their professor and loved friends with whom they spent their best time.
7 students and 1 professor lost their lives on the Wayri beach on the Malwan coast when they went swimming in the sea. All of the deceased were from Maratha Mandal college of Engineering who had gone on a industrial tour.
