Case against Kudachi BJP contestant for distributing money to attend PM Modi’s Rally

A case has been filed against BJP candidate P. Rajeev and two others for violating the model code of conduct. The incident occurred during the BJP election rally of PM Narendra Modi held on April 29th at the Kudachi AC. It has been alleged that money was distributed and people were lured to attend the event.

The complaint was filed by government officer Abhishek Pandey, who based it on social media responses to a private TV report. The report claimed that money was distributed near Mugalakhoda town with the intention of attracting a large number of people to the BJP party meeting, which was attended by the Prime Minister.

The case has been registered at the Harugeri police station against P. Rajeev of Kudachi constituency and Halappa Shegunasi of Mugalkhod. Such violations of the model code of conduct are taken seriously and will not be tolerated. The authorities will investigate the matter thoroughly and take appropriate action.
