Voluntary taxpayers are a rare breed and we are of the opinion that administration should reward and motivate them with encouragement. Its April , means if you pay your property tax you get a 5% rebate, but this year to get that rebate the honest tax payers is been made to go from door to door and come again next week. We agree that this year the challan is to be prepared online but the payment is offline. The great work force of the corporation haven’t updated records so this time to make the online entry they need records hence the SAS form which has details about the property etc.

Sir as a responsible citizens, when we come to pay our taxes we must be treated well Corporation cribbed about no money in their treasury but when people have lined up to pay taxes, unfortunately the administration is not competent to collect. Reason may be many but in our City still more than 60% people are waiting for their term to come to pay SAS tax and get 5% rebate. As you are aware today is the last date i.e.30.04.2018 we sincerely request you sir to kindly extend the Rebate period for another one months looking to the election ahead.
