The citizens of Belagavi who have been promised 24 x 7 water are crying to get water from January 10 as the outsourced staff of the water board has gone on strike.
Outsourced Staff is on strike for their demands from GoK. Water Supply to all areas would be heavily affected due to the same. Authorities are trying their best.

In many areas for the past 10 days, there has been no water supply. There was a protest also yesterday at Ashok circle for an urgent supply of water.
Areas like Sadashiv Nagar are getting water tankers but in very small numbers.
MLA Benake held a meeting with the striking employees and Water board but nothing was done to solve the issue. The Govt, the Waterboard (L&T) are not trying to resolve the issue but the citizens are facing the brunt.
