The Congress road which was closed for white topping on June 2 has now been reopened for two way traffic from Monday evening.
The barricades are also back at first gate as they were earlier.
The work on laying concrete began somewhere in March and then in June due to heavy traffic jams the road was made as one way.
Still, the road on one side is not yet complete and there is a huge gap about 8 inches. The road on the side of the railway track is laid with full concrete but the other part is not yet complete.
The road from 2nd gate to 3rd gate had developed cracks and was also relaid once but still, there are cracks on the road we are told.
Still, a lot of work is pending which includes a cycle track, median lights and also gutters.
