CREDAI takes up desilting of Rakaskop reservoir

CREDAI, Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India Belagavi members as a part of the CSR activities has taken up the initiative of desilting part of the Rakaskop reservoir which is built on the Markendaya river which is the main source of water supply to Belagavi.

With only 5 feet of water left in the reservoir the work which has commenced will help more water storage and the mud removed will be given to the farmers near by as this soil will be fertile. The farmers will have to bear the cost of taking the de silted mud to their respective locations.
