  1. Defence Procurement Assistance Centre (DPAC) located within the premises of Belgaum Foundry Cluster was inaugurated by Lt Gen Raveendra Thodge on 04 Jun 2016. Maj Gen KN Mirji (Retd) and Maj Gen Mohan Katti (Retd) are rendering advice and guidance to the local industries and encouraging them to manufacture components and assemblies for the armed forces. There is a proposal to establish Testing Facilities of DGQA at Belgaum so that the samples produced here can be tested locally.
