Noted academician and former principal of Gogte college of Commerce from 1976 to 1991 Dr. D A Hegde(79) passed away here on Teachers day due to a cardiac arrest.
He was also responsible for the opening of IMER and School of business management. A foresighted academician Dr.Hegde excelled in Economics and management.
He is survived by wife, two sons and a daughter.
He was a good teacher and academician, May his soul rest in peace.
He was a very dynamic Principal, he was responsible to introduce GIT,IMER and SBM.May his soul rest in eternal peace and his family have the strength to bear the irreparable loss.
