Dr.Vishal Ravi has been appointed as the new Deputy Commissioner of Belagavi as G.C.Ghosh, father of Ujjwal Ghosh, IAS, passed away on April 1.
Despite having a brilliant rank in the Medical Post Graduate Exams, Mr. Vishal chose
the Indian Administrative Service over his medical career and has been prolific in whichever post he has been assigned to.
An IAS officer of 2004 batch, Dr. Vishal hails from Hubballi. He had completed his MBBS from Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), Hubballi. He has served in many positions including Deputy Commissioner of Chikkabalapur and Kalaburagi districts and Additional Election Commissioner of Bengaluru Municipal Corporation.
Dr. Vishal Ravi is a dynamic IAS Officer from 2004 batch. And was previously the DC of Udupi District, Commissioner of State Food, civil supplies and consumer affairs.
