Durjoy Datta Session – 20th Feb 2015 at 2.30 pm
KLS Gogte Institute Technology will be organizing 12th version of Annual flagship technical fest Avalanche’15 on 20th February 2015 to 22nd February 2015. This event provides a platform for the students to showcase their talent. It will be National-level event & the students from the Colleges all across from the country will be participating. Avalanche started as a humble Technical paper presentation competition in the year 2000, but today it has gained epic proportion with hundreds of papers pouring in and it becoming a national event. The purpose of this event is to instill the techniques of paper writing and presentations concerning different fields of engineering. This is also accompanied by informal events, which are technical in nature. This year the events being conducted under Avalanche are Paper presentation, Debate, General Quiz, Mock Press & Extempore.
This year famous Novelist, screenwriter, an entrepreneur, India’s one of the best selling author and a motivational speaker Mr. Durjoy Datta is coming to grace the occasion and share his views and thoughts with the students. All his novels have found prominence in various bestsellers lists and continue to feature in them. His books predominantly deal with subjects of love, relationships, disability, drug abuse, sexuality and death. Durjoy Datta is the co-founder of Grapevine India publisher pvt. Ltd. A mainstream English language publisher, which promotes young talent in publishing industry. He is a motivational speaker and has spoken in more than 100 colleges and schools on the topic of entrepreneurship, writing, marketing, passions etc. Durjoy Datta has to his credit two-television shows – Sadda Haq telecasted in channel V and Veera telecasted on Star Plus, both of which have received considerable critical acclaim and commercial success.
