Karnataka Forest Department has banned the entry of tourists to Chikale falls due to the COVID-19 scare.
It is the monsoons and Belagavi is surrounded by nature’s bounty and many seasonal waterfalls make an eyes delight.
Such one is Chikale Falls near Chikale village which is about 40 kms from Belagavi.
During the monsoon, hundreds of people head to this waterfall trekking all the way from the village.

But due to the increasing numbers of COVID cases, the entry to the falls has been banned for an indefinite period and the board has also been put up informing the same.
