Belagavi, July 6: Owing to continuous heavy rainfall across the region, the district administration has declared a holiday on Tuesday (July 7) for all Anganwadi centres, primary and high schools, and Pre-University (Class 12) colleges in both urban and rural areas of Belagavi and Khanapur taluks.
Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Roshan issued the order as a precautionary measure in view of the prevailing weather conditions and ongoing heavy rains.
“It is raining here and school has reopened, so please grant me leave because I travel by bus and I have already gotten a little wet.”
