The Mal Maruti Police have arrested former Mayor Shivaji Sunthkar in case filed with it by a retired DSP of an assault on the latter.
Sadanad Padolkar, retired DSP and residing at Ramteerth Nagar had field a complaint against Sunthkar for assault on him and case has been filed under IPC 307, 323 & 324.
When produced infornt of the JMFC court the court has gave judicial custody of the accused until April 28, 2017.
The complaint mentions that Shivaji Sunthkar and his son assaulted the retired DSP while he was on a morning walk.
Former mayor and indulging in goonda giri is terrible. What kind of guys are in politics ?

The reason for assault is ridiculous. He had parked the car in the middle of the road and the retd. police guy asked him to move it aside. It was causing a nuisance to the traffic. Our great man felt this was a major assault on his ego. How DARE?
People with short fuses should not be driving in the first place.
If he can assault an Retired DSP – what about the common man ? Put him behind bars and teach him a good lesson.
