Foundation stone for 34.48 km part of Belagavi ring road to be laid by Gadkari on Feb 22

On February 22 Union Minister Nitin Gadkari will Dedicate to the Nation and Foundation Stone laying of NH Projects of the Belagavi region on Feb 22 at the District Stadium Belagavi at noon which includes one package of the Belagavi ring road with a Length of -34.480 Km at a Cost of – 1622.04 Crore.

Details of the Belagavi Ring Road

CONSTRUCTION OF RING ROAD / BYPASS TO BELAGAVI CITY (Package-1A)

Start Point – Ch. 11.00 Km (Goa side) of NH-4A near Zadshahapur Village

End Point – Ch. 516.00 Km (Pune side) of NH-4 near Bennalli Village

Stretch : Construction of 4/6 lane bypass for Belagavi city from Km 11.00 (Goa side) of NH-4A to Km 516.000 (Pune side) of NH-4 (Design Length 34.48 km) in the State of Karnataka on Hybrid Annuity Mode. (Package 1A)

Cost of Land to be acquired (Cr.) – Total Capital Cost (INR Cr.) Per Km Total Capital Cost (INR Cr / km)

*(State Government of Karnataka has allotted 140 Crs towards 50% of total LA cost of the project of length 69.427km)

The foundation stone for only one section of the Belagavi ring road from the Goa side to the Pune side will be laid tomorrow.

There have been protests and many farmers have filed cases in the high court against the same and hence the same has not been picked up over the years.
