MLA Abhay Patil from Belagavi South met Nitin Gadkari, the Minister for Road Transport & Highways, at his residence in New Delhi today. During the meeting, MLA Patil requested approval and permission for the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Cable Car Project at Rajhans Gad, Yallur. To everyone’s delight, Minister Gadkari gave his green signal for the project.
The implementation of this cable car project is expected to have a positive impact on tourism in Belagavi. With the completion of the project, the number of tourists visiting the area is expected to gradually increase, leading to a boost in trade and business. Minister Gadkari emphasized the potential benefits this project will bring to the region.
The idea for a cable car project from Aravalli Dam to Rajhans Gad Yallur was initially proposed by MLA Patil. In 2019, officers also conducted inspections at the proposed site, further supporting the feasibility of the project.
MLA Abhay Patil envisions the cable car covering a distance of 2 kilometers. This project will not only promote tourism in the area but also provide exposure to Yallur and other small villages. Additionally, it will create employment opportunities for the local youth, contributing to the overall development of the region.
