The four accused in the Kakti gang rape case were beaten up by the inmates of the Hindalga jail on Saturday night.
A dozen of under-trials with whom these four accused were kept physically assaulted the rape accused as all of them were angry as they had raped a minor.
Immediately the jail staff shifted them to a different cell after the incident.
The four who were arrested have been sent to judicial custody upto March 9 namely Sanju alias Baba Sidappa Daddi (24), a resident of Muthyanatti; Suresh alias Cacha Baramappa Belagavi (24), a resident of Muthyanatti; Sunil alias Yallapasya Lagamanna Rajakatti (21), a resident of Muthyanatti; and Mahesh Balappa Shivannagol (23), a resident of Managautti village in Hukkeri taluk.

They should have cut off their testicles so that they will not commit such crimes in the future. Good job inmates. The inmates should be pardoned for good behavior.
