Lieutenant General Satinder Kumar Saini, Ati Vishisht Seva Medal, Yudh Seva Medal, Vishisht Seva Medal, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Command and Mrs Neena Saini, Regional President, Army Wives Welfare Association visited Belgaum Military Station to include The Maratha Light Infantry Regimental Centre and Junior Leaders Wing on 27 & 28 August 2019. On his arrival, he was welcomed by Major General K J Babu, Yudh Seva Medal, General Officer Commanding, Karnataka and Kerala Sub Area and Brigadier Govind Kalwad, Yudh Seva Medal, Commandant The MLIRC along with their spouses.
Lieutenant General Satinder Kumar Saini, in his 38 years of extensive service, having a vast experience of operations as well as held very important appointments such as Commandant, the Indian Military Academy and Director General, Manpower Planning and Personnel Services (MP&PS). The General Officer visited the two training establishments and appreciated the dedication, professionalism, and ethos to ensuring the highest standard of training as per Army ethos.
During his visit, the General Officer also visited various training infrastructures and ongoing projects for the improvement of the training and administration. Mrs. Neena Saini, Regional President, Army Wives Welfare Association, Southern Command interacted with the ladies of the station and appreciated efforts in enabling the families by the conduct of various vocational training and welfare activities.
