The KLS Gogte Institute of Technology has come forward as a Good Samaritan and has agreed to admit Sheela Keralkar who secured 97.58 % marks in PUC 2 exams in the Science stream. She secured 100 marks in Chemistry, Maths, Physics and 95 in biology.

Unfortunately she had not given the CET exams hence GIT has agreed to give her admission under the management quota.
The decision of admitting her free was announced by Chairman of Karnataka Law Society M.R.Kulkarni and Governing council chairman Uday Kalkundrikar in a press meet this morning and also felicitated Sheela and her grand mother Suhisla.
Now her dream to become an Engineer has just begun.
Sheela stays in a small house in Tanaji Galli in Honaga, her grand mother Sushila who works in kitchens during the marriage season. Sushila has worked hard and educated Sheela and the result is the best gift she could have given her Grand mother for her sacrifices.
