HTML 5 Seminar:
HTML5 has been the buzzword since last two years, attracting attention from almost everyone. It is the latest version of HTML, after HTML4, standardizing strong and constructive changes to the web which was very static by nature. In this talk, the speaker will briefly touch upon few significant features of HTML5, how it can be used to change the way, we develop our applications and later explain few challenging projects which can be taken up.
Timing: 11.00am to 12.45pm
Google Web Toolkit Workshop:
Web is a platform which has evolved leaps and bound. From the static web pages which depicted the web we are in the world where we play multiplayer game in the browser. JavaScript is the key language which runs in the browser and makes the web more dynamics. This talk would talk about generating JavaScript code from Java. The talk will cover basics of Google Web Toolkit (GWT) which is Java to JavaScript compiler. This talk will give the audience the basic knowledge about GWT. The session will be 101 on GWT.
Timing: 2pm to 5pm
About the Speaker:
Allahbaksh M. A. (Infosys Labs and member GDG Bangalore).
Allahbaksh M. A is working in Infosys labs since past 6 years. He happens to be alumni of BVBCET, Hubli. He is renowned in the technical world for his talks and workshops on various technologies like GWT, HTML-5, Hadoop etc. He was one of the speaker for Indic Thread, GTUG Dubai, IIIT Jabalpur, to name a few. He enjoys an atmosphere full of developers and people who are ready to learn!

For HTML 5 Seminar: Basic HTML knowledge preferred but not mandatory
For GWT Workshop: Java/Javascript
