The Anti Corruption Bureau in Belagavi have arrested five persons on the charge of cheating by using forged documents to garb government land. Out of the five arrested two are women and they were trying to sell the land which belongs to the city corporation to others by using forged documents.
Shameena Banu Inamdar, principal of a school, Malaprabha Bharma Ajrekar, Gangappa Shakar More and Bijo Muralidharan Nair are the five arrested persons.
The ACB has also recovered a set of fake documents from the arrested.
