Mini Forest at Belagavi Airport by Green Saviours in association with Airport Authority of India.
The Green Saviours team has been working on tree plantation and maintenance for 192 consecutive Sundays since April 2019. We have planted and maintained over 23000 trees including 7 Mini Forests in and around Belagavi.
Green Saviours Association is a registered Not for Profit Company.
Presently we are working on establishing a Green Saviours Mini Forest of 5000 trees at Belagavi Airport in association with the Airport Authority of India on 15th December 2019.
GREEN LANDINGS will be created by over 600 volunteers including students, social organizations and other Belgaumites along with the Green Saviours team in 4 hours on Sunday, beginning at 7 AM.
The Green Saviours projects are aimed at
1. Resolving Climate Change
2. Mitigating pollution levels
3. Creating lush green spaces within and beyond the urban spaces
4. Providing habitats for diverse life forms
