As per that 2009 notification the road was to commence from Fish Market, but now the fertile lands of the farmers are been acquired for the said bypass.

The aggrieved farmers in 2019 had approached the high court and in December had granted a stay on all the work on the Halga Macche bypass but even then some work was carried out by NHAI in this period.

NHAI argued that it has faced a loss of 44 crores and hence it may be granted permission to carry on the road work immediately.
