Hearing in courts via video conferencing in Belagavi too

In a first, Today two matters were taken for hearing via video conferencing in Belagavi for the first time during a lockdown of COVID 19.

In the first case taken up by the Bombay High Court this afternoon via a publicly accessible online Zoom meeting hosted on an experimental basis, Justice GS Patel awarded a first-year law student ad-interim relief in a plea filed against her expulsion from the college.

Viz. Bhagyalaxmi Judge in C. C. No. 210/2017 & C. C. No. 211/2017

M M Shaikh Advocate assisted by Adv.Harshvardhan Patil & TM Shaikh argued for the release of Accused.

2) JMFC II before in charge court JMFC VI BRPS crime No 40/2020 Viz. Vinay Kundapur Judge

M M Shaikh Advocate assisted by Adv.Harshvardhan Patil & TM Shaikh Argued on the bail application.

e- filing was done online, Later the matter was conducted via Video Conferencing through Zoom App.

The Hon’ ble Judge, Adv. MM Shaikh & Adv. Harshvardhan Patil, The Public Prosecutor together conducted the matter via video conferencing.

In both matters, the Hon’ble Judges passed the bail orders.
