Gruha Lakshmi Scheme is an ambitious scheme of the Government of Karnataka which provides Rs.2000/- per month through DBT to the female head of the family mentioned in the BPL /APL/ Antyodaya Card.
The Government is pleased to implement this scheme through the Department of Women and Child Development during 2023-24.
The government has also released a helpline number 8147500500 where beneficiaries can clarify their doubts through SMS. People can also call the 1902 number if there are any doubts regarding the scheme.
Highlights of the Gruha Lakshmi Scheme:
● Applicants can apply from 19-07-2023.
Application can be submitted at Karnataka One, Gram One, Bapuji Kendras. Aadhaar card is mandatory for application submission. 1.28 crore families will benefit from the Grilahakshmi Yojana.
● Applications can be submitted online or physically through Seva Sindhu portal at Grama One/ Bangalore One/ Karnataka One. (https://sevasindhugs.karnataka.gov.in/gruhalakshmi )
● Acknowledgment can be obtained through SMS and Auto-generated through Seva Sindhu Portal.
women whose name is mentioned as head of the family in ration card, BPL, APL and Antyodaya cards are eligible for the scheme. If the woman or her husband pays Income Tax or claims Goods and Services Tax returns are not eligible for the scheme.
Documents required to register for Gruha Lakshmi scheme
The applicants have to carry their ration card, Below Poverty Line card (BPL), or Above Poverty Line card (APL), or Antyodaya card along with their Aadhaar card.
If the applicants want to get money in another bank account that is not linked to Aadhaar they need to carry the bank passbook along with ration card and Aadhaar card.
