The Department of food and civil supplies somewhere in may had made a release that all those families who are holding the ration card, issued prior to the year 2010 must renew their ration card of all the family members including child above twelve years of age.
The people with such ration card are advised to SMS their RCREN ration card number to mobile number 9212357123 and thereafter by getting Token number and security code, card holder should approach any one of the nearest ration card Seva Kendras and make the Biometric done.
Food and civil department has clearly said in its statement that only people those who have registered in this way will only be entitled for the ration and kerosene for the month of September 2013.

e.g: RCREN BLG2547896 send to 9212357123
2.You will receive the Token number and security code
3. Card holder should approach any one of the nearest ration card Seva Kendras and make the Biometric done

My ration card no.is BLG05102465 and got it renewed as it was pre 2010 card.It is APL card and after issue if the card I went for registration and willingness to get the ration.After the registration,I found out that the shop no 250 allotted to me was far off from my place and as once again went to Belgaum One and got GSC..Subsequently,got the fresh card with corrections of name etc made and simultaneously changing the shop no from 250 to 306..Then once again I went to Belgaum One for fresh registration and willingness with the new shop 306..But they said that my account can not be opened again..Now I am in a fix..The earlier willingness is for shop 250.But in the ration card,the shop no.is 306…so please guide me how to change my registration/willingness from shop 250 to 306
