Addressing the Tiecon 2022 convention in Hubballi. Large and Medium Industries Minister Murugesh R Nirani said the International Airport project proposed at Kittur on the Hubballi-Belgavi highway is in an advanced discussion.
Adding further the minister said 1,000 acres of land is being acquired near the Khanapur railway station in Belagavi for establishing an industrial area.
The minister said TIECon 2022 Hubli is an innovative initiative that is in line with our government’s policies of promoting entrepreneurship throughout the state. The ideas and creativity showcased here are a testimony to the bright future of Namma Karnataka!

Acquisition of green land near khanapur will destroy the environment and animal species, public should oppose such kind of destructive ideas by the government in the name of development and industrialisation
