Jailed gangster in Hindalga jail Belagavi makes threatening calls to Nitin Gadkari’s office

A notorious gangster and murder accused, Jayesh Kantha, has been identified as the individual responsible for making threatening calls to Union Minister Nitin Gadkari’s office from inside Belagavi Hindalga jail in Karnataka.

In response, the Nagpur Police have beefed up security for the minister and requested a production remand for the accused.

The jail administration of Belagavi has seized a diary belonging to the accused, and the police have revealed that three calls were made from a BSNL network-registered number to the landline number of Gadkari’s office at 11.25 am, 11.32 am, and 12.32 pm.

The crime branch is currently analyzing the call detail records and increasing security at the venue of the minister’s program.
