In an era when the Rs.10 note hardly gets you anything stomach-full, a jhunka bhakar stall started by M E S Mahila Aghadi at Shaniwar Khoot next to Mangesh Electricals is offering Jhunka Bhakr and pickle at Rs.10.
The stall was opened recently by the members of the association.
Jhunka bhakri – Maharashtrian dish is a traditional chickpea or besan based wet mix which is then tempered with mustard seeds, garlic paste and curry leaves. This zunka is then stirred with fried onion mix and enjoyed hot with jowar or bajra bhakris.
The main intention of opening such a stall would definitely help the people who come there in the city from nearby places to have a stomach full meal.
