Belagavi police commissionerate have appealed the public in it’s limits to become member of the new ‘beat system’ the system was introduced by the Belagavi police in January 2016, which produced good results.
What is this beat system?
The beat system is to consider one area or Mohalla as beat and one police is appointed to that beat and the local senior and responsible citizens, NGOs, Women, students will be the members of that beat. This will work to develop good relations between police and public, maintain peace and law and order, women and child protection in the area with the cooperation of public.
Police Commissioner T G Krishbabhata, DCP G Radhika and Amarnath Reddy have appealed public to contact the respective police stations with self details and photograph to become beat member or they can an also contact police control room 100 , 0831-2405233.
