Karnataka COVID-19 meeting: Beds to be reserved for COVID patients

On Thursday, Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai made an Assembly appeal urging citizens to cooperate if restrictions are imposed to prevent the state from suffering through another Covid-19 wave.

Dr Sudhakar K chaired a meeting today at Belagavi to take stock of the Covid-19 situation and discuss measures to prevent and mitigate the spread of infection.

Experts of the Technical Advisory Committee briefed about the prevailing global situation and new variants.

Existing oxygen plants will be inspected and kept ready.

Notification will be issued to reserve beds in District Hospitals for Covid patients.

Large vaccination camps will be organised across the state to ensure 100% coverage of precaution dose.

The minister appealed to all people to dispel misinformation and apprehension about vaccines and ensure that everyone is vaccinated with three doses.

Dr.Sudharkar assured that our govt will do whatever it takes to mitigate the pandemic. Let us together defeat the virus.
