Konkan mohatsav in Belgaum from 13 to 17 May

The Konkan mohatsav festival is being celebrated this year at the Sankalp Bhoomi, Jaitanmal near Parvati Nagar from 13 May to 17 May.
The festival is an attempt to bring together the Konkani community of Belgaum and showcase the rich cultural diversity of Konkan.konkan mohotsav belgaum
On offer will be a range of mouth watering dishes including the famous Konkani fish and wade sagoti which is specially prepared Mutton and chicken served with wada.
The cooks, the fish and even then water used in cooking will come from Konkan. On display will be the majestic Sindhudurga fort the Ariel view of which will be displayed at the festival.
The mango bazaar will be a unique feature of the festival where original high quality mangoes will be brought and sold direct from the farms without any agents in between.
There will also be a village market created at the festival for children to learn about traditional markets and workmen. Children can get hands on experience of Pottery and much more. Handicrafts and goodies from Konkan will be on sale including ambapoli, phanaspoli, wood toys of sawantwadi and much more. The festival will also have a five days cultural extravaganza of local folk arts like dashaawatar, goph and much more.

    Please put the timings of the Kokan festival as to is it open the whole day or from what time to what time. What time does the cultural activities begin from. etc. Thanks
