Justice K Bhakthavatsala, Karnataka State Administrative Tribunal (KSAT) Chairman has said that work at Belagavi would be commenced on December 17, with the existing staff.
The KSAT benches at Belagavi was sanctioned by the State Government on August 13, 2015.
But with no buildings available for establishing the same, now private buildings have been taken on lease and rent is being paid from March 2017.
With the launch of the new benches, these benches will help litigant public servants and practising advocates.
Currently, cases related to appointment, transfer, retirement benefits and promotion, etc. of state government officials/employees across the state are being heard in KSAT in Bengaluru.
