Karnataka cabinet decides to call for a 10-day Assembly session from 13 to 24 of September to be held in Vidhana Soudha, Bengaluru.
It was quite evident that the Govt in the state will not hold a session at the Suvarna Vidhan Soudha Belagavi sighting Covid and the same has happened again.
The majestic 400 crore building stands with a few offices occupied.
The session was not held in Belagavi owing to floods in 2019 and COVID-19 in 2020.
The latest winter session of the Karnataka legislature held in Belagavi was for 10 days in 2018 and RTI reply sought by Bhemapa Gadad shows that Rs 13.85 crore was spent for the same.
