The villagers of Krishanpur are now faced by the menace of the Leopard and they believe it is the same Leopard which was captured in Chikale on July 8. Villagers say the leopard has been hunting dogs at Krishnapur, Mendil and Talewadi villages.
The forest officers however defied to confirm this and said a round the clock watch was being kept on the surrounding villages. The Bhimgad wildlife sanctuary has many leopards, tigers and wild dogs and it would be difficult to pin point if this is the same leopard.
