Assistant Commissioner of Police N V Bharmani and his team seized liquor worth 1.3 lakhs being illegally transported in Belagavi.
The liquor manufactured in Goa was being illegally transported to Hyderabad via Belagavi.
The consignment did not have any valid documents or licenses required as per law for such transport.
The liquor was been transported on a private Bus. M D Mehaboob (driver) Vikarabad District, Hyderabad and Govindraj (cleaner) native of East Godavari were arrested by the police.
106 bottles of IMFL worth 1,30,700/- and bus worth 30,00,000 were seized by the police.
