With the increase in the positive cases in the district the police has been asked to enforce the lock down more stringently.
Police has been asked to seize the vehicles if found loitering around.
Even sources have said that Raviwar peth market has been asked to close down.
Take away services by restaurants will also remain closed.
Even essentials grocery shops to remain close for tomorrow at least.

A decision will be taken further.

It is impossible for the police to monitor 24/7 in all the area under lock down. It is for all the people to understand the seriousness of the situation and abide by government guidelines. It will not be immature to expect brutal force from the law enforcing authorities to strictly comply with lock down requirements.

Really? Police presence is nonexistent where adults gather in groups having fun without having to go to work . Youngsters also gather for entertainment since they don’t need to report to their schools and they are bored . Law enforcement officers at lunch leaving the assigned posts. Now, we are approaching almost a month, only twice police car droveby on a particular street. One would wonder why? Why there are positive cases keep rising up? It is because, people ignore consequences of this monstrous disease which would destroy precious God given gift of many lives of their own loved ones.

Sure, police force is doing their best with limited staff and resources. Isn’t it time for someone in higher position / management to think of a back up plan to support police officers with extra help outside of their own territory ?

    God blesses all! Be safe!
