Lockdown extended for 14 more days till June 7

Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa announces that the lockdown will be extended for 14 more days till 6 am June 7 to ensure a further decline in Covid-19 cases

Announces black fungus/mucormycosis cases to be treated for free at all govt hospitals.

The morning slot of 6-10 am for shopping essentials will continue.

All previous guidelines continues; exemption allowed from 6am to 10am

Speaking to the media, Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa said that the decision has been taken after  a meeting with officials and ministers. “We had a meeting with senior officials and ministers. We have taken a decision on lockdown. We had strict restrictions till May 24. As per the opinion of experts, we are extending the strict restrictions till June 7 at 6 am,” he said.

The CM added that there are no changes in the restrictions but noted that people were not following the lockdown norms and has allowed the police authorities to take action against the violators.

Public transportation, including RTC buses will continue to remain prohibited except for emergencies, like getting vaccinated or for the movement of those employed in essential services.

Shops dealing with food, groceries, fruits and vegetables, dairy and milk booths, meat and fish, and animal fodder shall be allowed to function from 6 am to 10 am.

Sir everything is fine but don’t forget middle class people we are in trouble government must help us like Automobile line,garment, daily workshop people all this business are shutdown there is no money no work what to do seating on chair government is giving order all MINISTER, MLA,MP are well to do what about us better think of it otherwise we will have to come on road that time no coronavirus is their one day we have to go

  4. “Oh God” how do we survive without job,without money,if we don’t have money then who is responsible for that….. Sir, lockdown,curfues, etc etc … may be, “not” the right decision!! you have to take different but strong decission..

  5. Respected Sir, Just want to know whether the same rule applies to belagavi district since DC belagavi has already issued separate orders for complete lockdown from 22nd to 24th. Better the district administration kindly clarify on this point. Regards
