Karnataka Lokayukta Police have conducted search operations across the state in connection with complaints regarding disproportionate asset cases registered against 7 Government Officers in Lokayukta Police Stations of Bengaluru City-2, Belagavi-2, Bagalakote-1, Chitradurga-1 and Raichuru-1. On 31/01/2025, simultaneously searches at the residences, offices and residences of the relatives of the concerned Accused Government Officers were conducted at more than 27 places. During searches following information about their acquisition of disproportionate assets was revealed:-

Sri. Sachin Basavant Manded @ Mandedar, FDA, Sub-Registrar office, Belagavi North, Belagavi. Searches in 5 places of the AGO were conducted. During the searches the following assets were found. (a) Value of Immovable Assets- 1 Site, 1 Under Construction House, 1-12 Acers Agricultural Land– In all Valued Rs. 58,00,000/- (b) Value of Movable Assets– Rs. 1,35,000/- Cash, Rs. 87,27,559/- worth of ornaments, Rs. 2,50,000/- worth of Vehicles, Rs. 1,01,00,000/- Worth of Bank Deposit, Mutual Fund, Equity Shares.- In all Valued Rs. 1,92,12,559/- (c) Total Value – Rs. 2,50,12,559/-
Sri. Sanjay Annappa Durgannavar, Veterinary Inspector, Veterinary Dispensary Clinic, Nilaji, Raibagh Taluk, Belagavi Dist. Searches in 3 places of the AGO were conducted. During the searches the following assets were found. (a) Value of Immovable Assets- 4 Sites, 1 House, 1 Acers Agricultural Land, In all Valued Rs. 50,77,000/- (b) Value of Movable Assets– Rs. 2,190/- Cash, Rs. 9,92,324/- worth of ornaments, Rs. 4,50,000/- worth of Vehicles, Rs. 8,86,000/- Worth of other items and house hold articles -In all Valued Rs. 23,30,514/- (c) Total Value – Rs. 74,07,514/-
