Deputy Commissioner of Belagavi N Jayram who has the record of the being the Longest serving Deputy Commissioner of Belagavi has been transferred today to as CEO and executive Member KIADB, Karnataka Industrial Areas development board.
N Jayram was DC for Belagavi for 1583 days in total that about 4 years 3 months odd. Earlier to this Mr.Kongwad had served as DC for 3 years and 35 days in 2000.
Jayram assumed charge as DC on 7 February 2013. In just a month he was transferred due to Assembly elections. Mounish Mougdgil took over for a short time and then interim charge was handed over to Priyanaka Francis who was the commissioner of City corporation.
On 17 May 2013 Jayram was again posted as DC of Belagavi and he is serving on the same post. He was also holding the charge as Regional commissioner from 10/09/2015.
Bad news for gelagavi people. We want jayaraam sir. Plz.

Being with political background , he only could managed his longest tenure at Belagavi. It’s an open secret that this officer had been very rude & arrogant .
Once , he misguided the Principal Secretary GOK on the issue of trespassing between Mawankatti & Chhoti Balekundari village inside the Sambra Airport premises & when this was put in open he not even threatened the Airport Officer to put behind bars but written to issue charge sheet & transfer of that Airport official out of Sambra due his own wrongdoings & Dadagiri. God bless him with good behaviour with common man & other department officials in future.All the best for his new assignment.

The transfer was expected before elections. Just impossible to understand what goes on in Govt.
