Mirasab Yargatti, from Modga village was arrested and sent to Judicial custody as he was booked under section 2 of prevention of Insult to National honors act 1971.
The accused had liked and uploaded an image which insulted the National Flag.
Mirasab was arrested after villagers staged a protest and locked up the Modaga GP office on Tuesday.
Mirasab said he does not much about Social media or Facebook and he might have liked or something have got shared on his profile which he really did not intent.
